Staying curious.
Originally from New Jersey and New York City, Amy has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and a MFA from Bard College. She moved to the Truro and began teaching art 30 years ago. Embedded in community she began exhibiting and teaching at local institutions such as Cape Cod Museum, PAAM, Castle Hill Center for the Arts and FAWC. Currently she is teaching at Nauset Regional High School running their Ceramic and Painting program. Her work and teaching focuses on ritual and the process of navigating creativity inside and outside the body. Most recently her work has been exhibited at Four Eleven Gallery in Provincetown, Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis and the Provincetown Commons. She is the Designer and Founder of Truro Clay Works, a member of the Sail Loft Art Collective and Cape Cod Potters.
