I offer a free consultation either on the phone or in person prior to a commission. During this time we can discuss your intentions for your painting, any specifications, location, size and price.
Once we have determined an agreement, I can book our painting session.
All portrait sessions are done in person at my studio. I can travel to you for an extra fee. I work from observation during a 3 hour period.
We can take many movement breaks during this time. Depending on the size of the canvas, this is usually done in one session but may require two.
I can hold onto the painting for you until it’s dry. Oil paint, depending how thick it is applied can take up to one to two weeks to dry completely. At that time we can arrange for pick up or drop off. If the painting needs to be shipped postage and handling are an extra fee.
